Number of hours per week: FTE 0.4, 15 hours (expected to be on-site for 16), shift times: 1200 to 2000 on Wednesdays and Sundays

What Resources and instruments are on site: Piano, Guitar, tone chimes, drums, and other miscellaneous instruments (maracas, tambourines, bells, etc.)
Wage: (minimum hourly) $37.89/hour – (maximum hourly) $47.31/hour
Start Date: As soon as possible
End Date: Position ends on listed end date (1/2/2027) or upon the return of the incumbent
Job Summary:
Provides music therapy services within a long-term care setting, supporting the emotional, cognitive, social, and physical well-being of residents. Responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating individualized and group music therapy programs. Maintains an active clinical caseload, completing assessments, treatment, and documentation. Plans and facilitates engaging individual and group sessions using a variety of instruments and therapeutic techniques for LTC residents.
Collaborates closely with interdisciplinary team members. Works in partnership with the Manager to address operational considerations related to program delivery. Additionally, manages inventory and maintenance of instruments and music therapy equipment.
