Workshop Description:
A presentation about inclusivity and trauma-informed service to LGBTQSIA+ clients. This workshop covers language, terminology, inclusivity, and a question/answer period.
Presenters’ Bios: Tracy Laslop (they/them, she/her) and Natalie Kimpton (she/her) are Certified Music Therapists living and working on the unceded and shared traditional lands of the the Səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and the Stó:lō Nations. Tracy specializes in palliative, hospice and bereavement care, and adult mental health care. Natalie’s practice is with children in preschools, and adults in mental health and HIV care.

Workshop Description: A Crash Course in Accessibility with Danielle Main
This workshop will cover:
- Social Media Inclusion
- Accessible space
- Service and Guide Dog Etiquette
- Accessibility Dialogue
- The “No Rules” Rule for disability awareness.
Presenter’s Bio:
Danielle is a blind RMT, entrepreneur and disability advocate. Through her charity “Leash of Hope Assistance Dogs,” she rescues dogs and trains them to be guide or service dogs for people with a wide variety of disabilities. In 2019 Danielle’s charitable work was recognized by L’Oreal with the Women of Worth Award. Running Leash of Hope has facilitated her knowledge and expertise in working and advocating for people who face life with limitations but still strive to live their fullest lives. She is also an active participant in adapted sport, such as blind tennis and hockey, equestrian sports, running, and is now training to be a competitive rower.
