Ukulele, hand-drum, and love singing. I’m a beginner-songwriter and
would like to incorporate that into the sessions.

Proposed Wage for Accredited Music Therapists: Minimum $60-$65/H

Job Summary: I’m looking for a female music therapist who would be okay
with giving me sessions during the times that my main therapist is on
holidays (next ones are week of May 27th, July 29th – August 5th) or
otherwise away.
I’ve had music therapy alongside talking therapy in the past and thrived
under it. Sadly my current financial situation doesn’t allow me to have
both at the same time anymore.
Having a proxy therapist for when my main therapist is away, is very
important for me, as I am socially isolated.
The music therapist should have experience with survivors of
childhood/teenage/adult abuse/neglect (complex trauma) and Dissociative
Identity. I don’t see these conditions as disorders or illnesses.
It’s also important to me that she is vegan, as this is a fundamental
part of my values and my life, as well as connected to the abuse/trauma
I experienced.
I’ve been in therapy for over 5 years, so I know quite well what works
and what doesn’t.
