What Resources and instruments (including guitar) are on site: For the in-person group, a range of small percussionĀ instruments areĀ available for participants. Therapist would need to bring an instrument to accompany songs with.Ā
Proposed Wage for Accredited Music Therapists after Contractor Fees: $60/session

*Job Summary: Facilitate music therapy groups (online and in-person) for people living with Parkinson’s Disease. The groups focus on vocal health, community-building, and emotional well-being. They incorporate vocal exercises and pre-chosen songs from a booklet.
Qualifications and Experience: MTA in good standing with CAMT, membership with MTABC, knowledge of popular music from the 50s and 60s (or willingness to learn a bunch of songs quickly!). Experience with Parkinson’s patients and/or seniors and/or other neurological disorders all assets.
