*Job Summary:

Looking for a Therapist to join our studio of independent therapists. We work with kids who are typical up to age 5 and kids/ youth with developmental delays and neurodiverse needs.

Currently we have one contract we need to fill (2.5 hours/ week) in the community running music groups for littles. Must run in the morning 9:30-12 but may be flexible on which morning (currently runs Wednesdays).

We also have a waitlist for private therapy that is getting longer by the month. We are looking for someone who would like a full caseload and would like to grow in a private practice setting long term. Community contacts are occasionally available as well.

All sessions would take place in the North Vancouver studio across one or two days, schedule to be determined by you. The perfect candidate would have experience and love working with diverse needs and kids and youth. Ideally we could fill both our community contract and our waitlist with one person, but not a deal breaker.

Qualifications and Experience:

Board certified or willing to obtain within 6months. Experience with the population even in a related field would be ideal (i.e) summer camps for diverse needs, community disability programming, etc.

-Strong voice and guitar skills.

-Ability to pick up simple repertoire and improvise.

-Good communication and people skills

-Independent work ethic.

-Good foundational knowledge of child development.

– Able to assess and articulate goal areas.
